1969 Striker 37
About This Yacht
This 1969 Striker 37 is an aluminum-hulled sportfisher built in Norway with classic lines and a proven design. The welded aluminum construction keeps the boat light—approximately 14,000 pounds dry—while the 37-foot length (41 with pulpit) and 13-foot-8-inch beam provide a stable platform. Twin Yanmar diesel engines deliver 630 horsepower combined, with dual helm stations: a main flybridge setup and a secondary cockpit station operated by levers.
The interior layout follows traditional Striker configuration. Forward is a V-berth, followed by a lower cabin with upper and lower bunk berths on the starboard side. The head is positioned on the port side aft of the V-berth. The galley occupies the starboard side of the main salon. A draft of 32 inches and air draft of 12.5 feet (with Bimini and antennas down) provide practical water and bridge clearance.
In 2003–04, significant updates were made: the starboard salon steering station was removed and relocated to the cockpit, the front salon windows were eliminated, and new 315-horsepower Yanmar 6LY-UTE diesel engines were installed, boosting the total power to 630 horsepower.
