The 1971 Pacifica 44 is a classic convertible sportfisher built to exacting standards. Fewer than 65 of these boats were produced, and the model earned its reputation through sturdy fiberglass construction, refined lines, and a practical layout suited to serious offshore fishing. Twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 370 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 20 knots.
The boat sleeps up to six across three cabins and features two heads, providing reasonable comfort for extended trips. The flybridge design is typical of the breed, offering excellent sightlines for fishing and navigation.
This example has undergone significant recent work. Twin Yanmar engines were installed in 2006, and a 2010 Norpro generator powers the electrical systems. The hull was refinished with Awlgrip LP paint, and new flybridge canvas was fitted. The boat is ready for active use.
