This 1973 Bertram Sport Fisherman is a 25-foot fiberglass hull built for serious fishing. The boat is powered by two MerCruiser 165-hp six-cylinder gas inboards with original outdrives replaced by Stern Drive Engineering Alpha I units. Both engines have been rebuilt and logged 621 and 474 hours respectively. Engine exhaust bellows were replaced in August 2025. The original fiberglass fuel tank was replaced with a stainless steel tank holding 118 gallons, and both engines feature Mallory electronic distributors and power steering from the starboard engine.
The helm is equipped with King autopilot, Furuno radar and color depth finder, Garmin GPS, and VHF radio. Instrumentation includes digital and analog tachometers, battery voltage and amperage gauges, tilt and trim indicators, and temperature gauges. A transom-mounted depth finder and fish locator are also fitted. Note that fly bridge steering is inoperative due to unavailable steering cable, though instrumentation and throttle and shift controls remain functional there.
Below deck, the cabin offers a V berth with porta potty, a convertible cabin table, and an electric refrigerator. The boat has been kept in fresh water and stored indoors during off-season. An EZ Loader tandem-axle trailer with electric brakes and power winch is included.
The sale includes comprehensive fishing gear: two Big Jon downriggers with eight weights and Black's releases, eight Big Lake fishing poles and reels, two fishing nets, two trolling skis and trolling board lines, and hundreds of lures. Service manuals, spare parts, props, specialty tools, and a full set of engine and outdrive alignment equipment are also part of the package.
