Garuda is a 1980 Pearson 365 Ketch, a 36-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built for long-distance cruising. The ketch rig provides flexible sail handling and excellent seaworthiness across a range of conditions. She is powered by a Beta Marine diesel engine and carries a full inventory of sails.
