The Perry 41 is a blue-water cruising sailboat designed by naval architect Robert Perry and built in Taiwan. Her hull draws from proven offshore design principles, featuring an encapsulated long fin keel and skeg-hung rudder. The 41-foot fiberglass hull, with a 12-foot beam, was painted with Awlgrip in 2014 and has been maintained for extended cruising.
Below deck, the interior is finished throughout in solid teak without veneer. The boat offers two private staterooms, one head, and a separate shower stall, accommodating cruisers who value traditional construction and durability.
Power comes from a Yanmar 50 hp diesel engine paired with a saildrive. The engine was installed in 1998 and has logged 575 hours to date. The saildrive unit was replaced in 2019. The fuel tank was replaced in 2023. Aloft, the mast was fully reconditioned, rewired, and repainted in 2023. The standing rigging was replaced and the furler rebuilt that same year. Teak decks were removed and refinished in 2014. Navigation electronics installed in 2023 include a B&G Zeus 12 system with radar and multi-function displays, plus VHF radio mounted in the nav pod.
