Spyglass is a 1996 Cabo Rico Northeast 400, a 40-foot fiberglass cruiser designed for extended passagemaking. The boat features a pilot house configuration and is rigged with an AeroRig sail plan.

Below deck, the interior includes two cabins and one head, arranged to maximize usable space for cruising voyages. The galley and saloon are positioned to take advantage of the pilot house design, which provides shelter and visibility underway.

Power comes from a Yammer diesel auxiliary engine. The boat is equipped with an onboard generator, solar panels, and air conditioning. Full navigation and communication electronics are installed, supporting extended cruising capability.
