The 1997 Pursuit 3000 Offshore Express is a 29-foot fiberglass sportfish yacht built for serious offshore work. Twin 2024 Yanmar 4LV series diesel engines—each 250 horsepower with 100 hours—power the boat to a cruising speed of 28 knots and top speed of 35 knots. The engines run direct drive through shaft propulsion.
Accommodations include one cabin with sleeping for four and one head. The boat is equipped with air conditioning, a new microwave, and a new refrigerator. Fresh bottom paint applied in 2025 protects the hull.
The systems are well-appointed for extended offshore operation. A Lewmar windlass handles a 25-pound plow anchor with 250 feet of 5/8-inch rode. Fuel capacity reaches 250 gallons. Electrical power includes two 12-volt engine batteries, two 12-volt house batteries, and a battery charger, with 30-amp shore power connectivity. Navigation is managed by a Garmin 5012 GPS chartplotter. Additional equipment includes an autopilot, fish finder, marlin tower with helm station, and eight life jackets. Fishing gear rounds out the outfit.
