1998 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge

This 1998 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge is powered by twin Caterpillar 3196TA diesel engines rated at 640 horsepower each, with approximately 4,000 hours on the engines. The boat features a fiberglass hardtop and full canvas enclosure on the command bridge, accessible via a molded stairway. The helm station includes a digital LCD systems monitor, engine synchronizer, crossover fuel and charging system, and a Raytheon electronics package. A 10 kW generator with sound box provides onboard power, and a Power Pac exhaust system with lift mufflers reduces engine noise.

The command bridge is designed for entertaining, with curved bench seating facing forward, a bridge cocktail table convertible to a sunpad, and a fully equipped wet bar with ice maker. The forward deck offers additional sunpad space. Below, the accommodations include a forward master stateroom with full-size pedestal bed and private head with circular shower, a portside guest stateroom with full-size bed and spacious private head, and a starboard stateroom with double bunks and washer-dryer combination. The salon features an electric convertible sofa and entertainment center with TV and VCR, while the galley is fully equipped with three-burner electric stove, microwave-convection oven, and refrigerator-freezer.

Recent work includes bottom paint, replacement aftercooler and turbo, new canvas enclosure, generator and electrical work, and new cushions. The main Caterpillar engines received service within the last 1,000 hours. The Westerbeke generator has approximately 8,000 hours with service within the last 100 hours. Spare parts available with the boat include two propellers, one shaft, one turbo, full Caterpillar water pump components, and Westerbeke parts.
