1998 Sea Ray Sundancer 400

This 1998 Sea Ray Sundancer 400 is a 40-foot fiberglass motor yacht powered by twin 7.4-liter MerCruiser V-drive engines producing 380 horsepower each. The boat features a raised helm and mid-cabin design that sets it apart from conventional layouts. Twin bow and stern thrusters are fitted for enhanced maneuverability in tight spaces.

The cockpit is generously proportioned with seating on three sides, a fiberglass sport spoiler, and a portside wet bar equipped with a faucet and icemaker. Direct access from the cockpit leads to a spacious swim platform. The helm includes a double companion seat and adjustable captain's chair. A large forward deck sunpad provides room for relaxation, while a French toe-rail and stainless steel bow rail ensure safe movement around the boat.

Below deck, the salon features a curved sofa and removable fiberglass table that can serve as a dining area or convert to sleeping space. The mid-stateroom offers a double berth, and the master stateroom is appointed with a full-size pedestal bed and entertainment center, alongside cedar-lined hanging lockers and vanities. The master head includes a VacuFlush toilet, sink vanity, and full stand-up fiberglass shower; a guest head with VacuFlush toilet and sink is also provided. Central heating and air conditioning, a television with VCR and radio, and a galley with full-size refrigerator, freezer, three-burner electric stove, coffeemaker, and blender complete the accommodations.

A new Westerbeke 7BCGD generator has been recently installed. Additional upgrades include new electronics, carpeting, flooring, air conditioning, king-size mattress, refrigerator, batteries, and battery charger. Raytheon electronics provide GPS and VHF radio capabilities. Documentation of work completed on the boat is available.
