This 2000 HBI 28 is a hard-bottom inflatable with a fiberglass hull designed by Hunt. The boat measures 31.5 feet in length with a 12.3-foot beam. It features HBI's distinctive tube design—positioned higher and further outboard than conventional inflatables—which reduces spray, improves drying characteristics, and minimizes wetted surface for better speed performance.
Power comes from a single 300 hp Mercruiser stern drive with Bravo 2 outdrive. The boat reaches a maximum speed of 34 knots and cruises at 24 knots. The new Hypalon rubber tubes and mooring cover are included.
Built as a commercial boat with a seating arrangement, the HBI 28 can be readily adapted to private use. It is trailerable for transport.
