The 2000 Sea Ray 340 Amberjack is a 33.5-foot express cruiser and sport fisher built on a fiberglass hull with twin MerCruiser 454 engines producing 380 horsepower each. The boat's 13.4-foot beam provides excellent stability and allows for a spacious, functional layout suited equally to fishing or cruising. Twin Garmin color displays and Raymarine autopilot anchor the electronics suite, while a Westerbeke generator, trim tabs, and windlass with 150 feet of chain and 200 feet of rode round out the mechanical package.
The cockpit is thoughtfully arranged with forward-facing and rear-facing seating that balances guest comfort with open deck space. The helm features dual double-wide seats with flip-up bolsters, dual throttle and gear controls, excellent visibility, and a power vent window. An electrically raising sole provides full access to the engines for service and maintenance. Deck amenities include a walk-through transom, swim platform with non-slip decking, hot and cold transom shower, remote-controlled spotlight, and in-floor storage compartments. A starboard-side livewell and integrated refrigerator serve fishing and entertaining needs.
Below deck, the bright cabin includes a galley with refrigerator/freezer, ceramic cooktop, microwave, and sink. The convertible V-berth dinette seats four and includes pocket doors for privacy, while a power sofa converts to sleeping berth. Additional accommodations feature a large starboard lounge, generous storage including hanging lockers, air conditioning, heat, and a full stand-up head with VacuFlush toilet, shower, and vanity. A central vacuum system is fitted throughout.
The boat was maintained in freshwater and stored indoors during off-seasons. A full ceramic coating was applied in 2024 with prior annual waxing and buffing. The cockpit upholstery was updated recently. New electronics were installed in 2023, and canvas with StrataGlass was replaced in 2021. Engine hours stand at approximately 1,017 on the main engines and 212 on the generator.
