2001 Sea Ray Sundancer 460
About This Yacht
The 2001 Sea Ray Sundancer 460 is a 46-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull with twin diesel engines. Originally introduced in 1999, the 460 was one of the largest domestic express yachts of its era, combining American sportboat styling with luxury accommodations and a notably wide beam that affords substantial interior space.
The boat features two staterooms and two heads. The midship stateroom offers complete privacy with sliding pocket doors and includes an enclosed head and washer/dryer. Both the salon and midstateroom settees convert electrically to double berths. The cockpit features facing aft settees that convert electrically into a large sun pad. An extended swim platform is fitted aft, and a gas-assist hatch provides access to the engineroom.
The boat is equipped with twin Cummins diesel engines producing 900 horsepower total, with V-drive configuration. A hardtop is installed, and additional equipment includes a genset, bow thruster, upgraded electronics, and cockpit air conditioning. Canvas and isinglass have been recently replaced. NIBRAL 4-blade props are available as an option. The twin engines cruise in the low 20s with a top speed of approximately 27–28 knots.
