2001 Tiara Yachts 2900 Coronet

The 2001 Tiara 2900 Coronet is a 28-foot fiberglass cruiser built on a modified-V hull with a wide 11.33-foot beam and 19-degree transom deadrise. Twin Crusader gasoline engines producing 640 horsepower drive the boat through Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmissions with 2.01:1 gear ratios. A SeaStar by Teleflex hydraulic steering system provides responsive handling. The curved reverse transom features a centerline cockpit entry and an integrated 24-inch swim platform with a telescoping stainless-steel boarding ladder.

The spacious single-level cockpit accommodates up to eight guests and is designed for entertaining. Notable features include a wet bar aft of the helm, high windshield with reverse-angled spray guard, coaming bolsters, and a centerline transom door. Engine access is exceptionally convenient—both engines sit beneath dual seat boxes, and the entire forward section of the cockpit deck lifts electrically for service.

Below deck, a single cabin provides overnight accommodations with a 6'4" V-berth, teak-and-holly cabin sole, enclosed head with hanging locker, and a compact galley equipped with microwave, sink, refrigerator, and storage. Access is through an acrylic bi-fold companionway door.

Equipment includes a Maxwell 500 12-volt windlass with 14-pound galvanized plow anchor, Garmin autopilot with integrated sonar and radar installed in 2023, GPS navigation, two Rule 1500 electric bilge pumps, fire suppression system, two Scotty downriggers, eight rocket launchers on the radar arch, and a complete canvas package with cockpit cover, bimini top, and full enclosure. The boat was operated in fresh water with two previous owners.
