The 2002 Sundance K16CC is a 15.75-foot center console sportfisher built on a fiberglass hull. Powered by a 4-stroke 30 hp Nissan engine, it delivers the efficiency and low-noise operation typical of four-stroke outboards in its class.
The layout centers on a raised helm console fitted with top-mount binnacle controls—an uncommon feature in boats this size. The 13-inch stainless steel steering wheel has a foam grip. A custom molded lexan windshield, stainless steel handrail, and front deck hatch come standard. Lighting poles for stern and bow are stored in clips beneath the foredeck. The helm position uses a 48-quart Igloo cooler fitted with a cushion; a second cooler can be mounted forward of the console as an option.
The rear deck is short and built for fishing, with an aerated live well featuring high-speed pickup. Double rod racks of custom construction are mounted on both sides of the console. A four-position electrical panel and automatic bilge pump are standard equipment. The boat includes a Load Rite trailer from 2001.
