The 2004 Four Winns 298 Vista is a 29-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta gasoline engines producing 540 horsepower combined. The boat's 10.5-foot beam creates generous proportions for both entertaining and accommodations. Notable exterior features include an extended swim platform with a concealed boarding ladder, a transom locker for storage, foredeck sun pads, and a BBQ mount. Access forward is via molded steps and a walk-through windshield. The cockpit centers on a U-shaped seating arrangement with a refreshment center featuring a 12-volt refrigerator, double-wide adjustable helm seat, and a pedestal cocktail table.

Battery capacity was increased in 2025 with a third house battery and new charger. The boat features automatic bilge pumps, fire suppression, CO and gasoline fume detectors, and a bilge high-water alarm.
