The 2005 Beneteau First 25.7 is a 26-foot composite sailboat built for coastal and light offshore cruising. It features a sloop rig with standing rigging inspected by a professional, including a gennaker on roller furling, foresail on roller furling, and a semi-battened mainsail. The original removable boom is fitted with lazy bags and an amovable mainsail track. A Torqeedo 3.0 TL electric outboard motor (6 hp, 3 kW) provides auxiliary power, supported by dual 24-volt 100 Ah batteries with two chargers, a 24-to-12-volt transformer, and a solar charge regulator ready for panel installation.
Below deck, the boat accommodates four with a convertible saloon berth, a dedicated cabin with two berths, a galley in L-shape, chart table, and a marine head with waste tank to starboard and washbasin to port. The electrical system runs on 12, 24, and 220 volts with onboard 220-volt outlets and a battery monitor accessible via mobile app.
Deck equipment includes a primary Britany anchor with chain and warp, a pair of Harken 16ST piano winches, teak latticed cockpit benches, an outboard motor chair on the transom, and a swim ladder. Electronics comprise a fixed ASNVHF radio, portable VHF, GPS, speed and depth sounder, wind and direction instruments, and autopilot.
The boat was comprehensively refitted in 2024 and is ready for cruising. Safety armament is current to March 2025.
