The PDQ MV34 is a 34-foot fiberglass catamaran built in 2006. This hull features a proven design combining solid fiberglass below the waterline with Corecell sandwich construction above for strength and light weight. Twin Yanmar diesel engines rated at 200 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 19 knots. The slimline hulls and moderate 16.8-foot beam allow the boat to access tight anchorages and fit standard marina slips, while the shallow 2'6" draft and 12'3" bridge clearance open up shallow-water cruising grounds.
The layout suits a couple with occasional guests, with two cabins and one head split between the twin hulls. The galley occupies the port hull, while the forward starboard head serves both cabins. A double berth sits in the stern of each hull. The design emphasizes livability and flow, with wide side decks, sturdy handrails, and multiple seating areas both inside and out. Large salon windows flood the interior with natural light and offer views across the water.
The engines have just over 3,000 hours and were recently serviced within the last 20 operating hours, including new fluids and filters, belts, heat exchanger, turbos, starters, and alternators. Maintenance logs exist from day one of operation. All systems are reported to be functioning consistently throughout the boat.
