2011 Jim Smith Custom Sportfish

This 71-foot Jim Smith custom sportfish combines traditional wooden construction with modern performance and refinement. Twin MTU diesel engines producing 3,840 horsepower deliver a cruising speed of 31 knots with a maximum speed of 40 knots, while the hull design provides excellent sea-keeping characteristics. The boat accommodates four cabins and three heads, offering comfortable cruising space for extended time at sea.

The interior showcases high-quality fit and finish throughout. Recent work includes new headliner, carpet, and lighting systems, along with updated cabinetry and ceramic coating on house windows and shower fixtures. A Control 4 system manages onboard systems, and washer and dryer equipment were installed in 2024.

Significant mechanical and structural updates have been completed. New MTU engines were installed in 2023 with an extended warranty through February 2028. Additional 2023-2024 work includes new exhaust mufflers, generators, gearbox rebuilds, shafts, and strut bearings. A full bottom job and complete exterior paint refresh were finished in 2025, along with restoration of all exterior brightwork. The 1,000-hour service was performed in early 2025.
