The 2012 Beneteau First 30 is a high-performance cruiser-racer designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian. Built on a fiberglass hull, the yacht measures 32 feet with a 10.5-foot beam and is powered by a Yanmar 3YM20 diesel engine (21 hp) with an SD20 saildrive and 2-blade folding propeller. The hull underwent preventive epoxy anti-osmosis treatment in 2020 and receives annual antifouling maintenance.
The boat carries a comprehensive new sail wardrobe of Dimension Polyant PX 20 LS laminate: a 35 m² mainsail with full radial cut, 28 m² high-aspect jib, 18 m² Solent, 58 m² Code 0, and 83 m² gennaker, along with a winter sail set. A new Selden spinnaker pole is included. All control lines are led aft for easy handling from the cockpit, making the boat suitable for short-handed sailing.
Below deck, the layout comprises two cabins, a saloon accommodating four, and one head. Navigation and electronics are comprehensive: Raymarine Smartpilot X30 with remote, dual Garmin GNX 20 instruments, Garmin GNX Wind Wireless 2, AIS Class B transponder, NMEA 2000 network with WiFi multiplexer, and VHF with DSC and wireless handset. Four MOB wristbands with automatic VHF alarm are fitted. Power systems include a 220 Ah service battery, 70 Ah starter battery, 40A charger, 110 Wp solar panel with Victron SmartSolar controller, and a Quick Boiler 25 L unit. A hard spray hood fitted in 2020, leecloths, and running backstays complete the interior.
