The 2012 Fairline Targa 58 is a 58-foot express cruiser built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 1,800 horsepower combined. The boat reaches speeds of 30 knots with a cruising speed of 25 knots, and features direct shaft drives, a bow thruster, and a hydraulic swim platform. A large cockpit provides space for entertaining.
Accommodations include four cabins and four heads across a three-guest stateroom layout plus a separate crew cabin. The salon and fully equipped galley anchor the living spaces, with LED lighting updated throughout the interior in 2026 along with new switch panels and courtesy lighting.
Extensive mechanical work was completed in 2025 and 2026. Running gear received a full haul-out with new antifouling bottom paint, propeller reconditioning and dynamic balancing, new shaft bearings, and PropSpeed coating. The exhaust system was serviced with a new bypass valve and replaced hoses, gaskets, and O-rings using genuine Volvo Penta parts. Cooling system service, shaft coupling work, and cutlass bearing service were also performed. The bow thruster was serviced, and all hull and rudder zincs were replaced.
In 2026, the interior was professionally refreshed with new LED lighting, switch panels, and cosmetic updates. Electrical work included windlass servicing with new chain counter and foot switches, replacement shower sump pumps, rebuilt vacuum toilet systems, and a new freezer. The exterior shows normal cosmetic wear appropriate to the boat's age; a professional polish and minor gelcoat touch-ups would enhance appearance but are not necessary for function.
