2013 Castagnola Motorsailer

This 2013 Castagnola motorsailer is a 131-foot wooden-hulled yacht built for extended cruising under power and sail. Twin CAT diesel engines producing 470 horsepower each deliver a cruising speed of nine knots and a maximum speed of twelve knots. The engines, running just over 1,200 and 1,400 hours respectively as of February 2025, are paired with ZF gearboxes and CMC hydraulic steering. A bow thruster and stainless steel shafts with four-blade propellers complete the propulsion package.

Accommodation spans eight cabins arranged for owner, guests, and crew: a forward master suite, four guest cabins, a captain's cabin, and three crew quarters. The yacht features comprehensive systems including dual Kohler generators, eight service batteries with Victron chargers, Climma air conditioning with individual cabin fancoils, and a Gianneschi heating system. Freshwater is supplied by a Netatek water maker, while galley appliances include Gaggenau cooktop, Arçelik oven, Miele dishwasher and laundry, and Frigoboat refrigeration.

Navigation and communication are fully equipped with dual Furuno displays and integrated electronics including radar, chart plotter, autopilot, AIS, and GMDSS systems. Safety equipment includes four life rafts, twenty life jackets, seventeen immersion suits, and comprehensive fire and medical provisions. The aluminium masts and booms carry stainless steel rigging with a lazyjack furling system.

The yacht carries a 32-foot Technohull Chase tender powered by twin 400-horsepower Mercury engines, a 14-foot Grand tender with 60 horsepower Mercury, two Seabobs, and a Sea-Doo jet ski.
