This 2013 Lagoon 450 F is a 45-foot fiberglass catamaran designed by naval architect VPLP. It delivers the comfort and seaworthiness of Lagoon's larger platform, with a generous sail plan that provides good handling characteristics and three Volvo Penta diesel engines totaling 214 hp.
The boat carries extensive cruising equipment throughout. Navigation systems include a 12-inch Raymarine GPS plotter from 2020, Raymarine VHF radio with DSC, autopilot, radar, depth sounder, AIS, anemometer, and compass. Deck features encompass an electric windlass, electric winches, teak cockpit, a 2021 polyester tender with Suzuki outboard, rigid boarding platforms, and 300 watts of solar panels. Power management includes eight batteries—six service batteries added in 2024—a 100-amp Victron charger, and a 3000-watt Victron converter. Water systems feature a 100-liter-per-hour Aquabase desalinator installed in 2019, hot water tank, and pressurized water throughout.
Interior accommodations include wood flooring, a full galley with microwave, oven, and stove, a 110-liter freezer, internal and external refrigeration, washing machine, and three electric heads with seawater supply. The cabin is fitted with multiple 220-volt outlets, 12-volt USB charging, and entertainment via integrated speakers and television. A survival raft dates from 2013.
Rigging and sails were updated in 2022–2023, including new single-line rigging and boom. Additions include foresail roller furling, lazy jacks, lazy bag, boom vang, and ball-bearing traveler cars. Cockpit upholstery and flybridge seating were renewed in 2024. Bimini and canvas provide weather protection, and forward cushions were refreshed in 2023.
