The 2013 Malibu Wakesetter 20 MXZ is a 20-foot wakeboat built for riders who want a compact boat that's easy to store and trailer while delivering serious on-water performance. The hull is engineered for wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and skiing, with Malibu's focus on responsive handling and wake quality across all disciplines.

The boat comes equipped with the MaliView system and Malibu Touch Command center, a centralized control hub that manages cruise functions, speed presets, ballast, the Power Wedge, the SURF GATE system, lights, heater, blower, navigation, and ignition. An optional Mobile Device Gateway adds Bluetooth connectivity, letting you adjust audio and rider presets from a smartphone.

The Power Wedge is the boat's core feature—an automatically adjustable device that shapes and sizes the wake to your preference. You can save favorite configurations as presets and adjust them with a button press. The wedge also includes an Auto Wedge function: during acceleration, it drops to minimum resistance for quicker planing and reduced bow rise, then returns to your set position once cruise speed is reached. This behavior repeats in tight turns, balancing performance with fuel efficiency.
