This 2014 Beneteau Gran Turismo 44 is a 47-foot express cruiser built on the yard's signature AirStep hull design. The boat underwent a partial refit in 2021 and has received substantial upgrades since, including twin new Volvo Penta D6-370 sterndrives with DPH-E drives, updated Simrad electronics with NSS12 evo3 display, a new Cruisair 16k BTU air conditioner, and a Rainman watermaker producing 37 gallons per hour. The hull carries a smooth, shiny finish and all systems are in working order.
The interior is laid out with dual master cabins, each with an ensuite head and shower, sleeping up to six. New interior cushions, mattresses, and carpeting were installed recently. The enclosed, air-conditioned cockpit features an electric targa top and integrates a Yeti Haul cooler into the cockpit bar. Additional refinements include replaced teak decking, new sanitation system plumbing, and rebuilt heads, along with custom exterior cushion covers and a Sunbrella enclosure.
Performance and efficiency define the boat's character. At 3,100 rpm the boat reaches 25 knots while burning just 30 gallons per hour; at full throttle (3,650 rpm) it achieves 33 knots on 42 gph. The 8kW Phasor generator consumes less than half a gallon per hour while running air conditioning, charging five battery banks, and operating the watermaker. A 185 Quick bow thruster aids maneuvering, and a TNT hydraulic platform lift with 2,000-pound capacity extends the aft deck to 47 feet.
Equipment includes a Caribe CX-9 tender with a 2024 Suzuki 20 hp outboard, Intellian i3 satellite system with three DirectTV boxes, offshore safety gear, fire suppression, 8 Seablaze underwater lights, and a Magma stainless steel propane grill. Fuel capacity is 212 gallons; fresh water storage is 106 gallons. At cruise speed with full fuel and 10 percent reserve, the boat delivers a range of 160 nautical miles.
