The 2015 Beneteau Oceanis 37 is a fiberglass cruising sailboat built to Beneteau's contemporary design standards. At 37 feet 5 inches long with a 12-foot 9-inch beam and 4-foot 8-inch draft, she draws shallow enough for most East Coast anchorages while maintaining comfortable offshore capability. The Yanmar 3YM30AE 30-horsepower diesel engine powers the boat, backed by a bow thruster installed in 2019 that significantly improves docking and maneuvering in tight quarters.
Deck layout prioritizes ease of handling, with in-mast mainsail and Profurl roller-furling headsail systems that allow full control from the cockpit. Standing rigging uses 1x19 stainless steel with swage fittings, and running rigging is braided Dacron. A Simrad autopilot with CPT backup automation completes the helm station, supported by new VHF radio and B&G electronics installed in 2019.
Below, the two-stateroom interior features mahogany and leather throughout. Storage and systems have seen recent attention: refrigeration and canvas were replaced in 2022, and a water filtration system was added to the galley in 2019. The boat carries 34 gallons of fuel, 95 gallons of freshwater, and features a 6-gallon water heater. Climate control includes a Cruisair 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle unit with enlarged ductwork and four Hella fans, all updated in 2019. Solar panels were added in 2022 to supplement the dual 30-amp shorepower inlets. The boat is USCG documented.
