2016 Regal 28 Express

The 2016 Regal 28 Express is a fiberglass express cruiser built for both day cruising and weekend getaways. It runs on a 300 hp Volvo Penta V8 gasoline engine with minimal break-in hours, delivering smooth power and a top speed of 33.5 knots. The boat features a bow thruster for tight-space maneuvering, an electric windlass with Lewmar anchor, trim tabs, and a 3.5 kW Westerbeke generator that has been relocated for easier access. An electric radar arch allows the structure to lower for trailering or passing under bridges. Navigation is handled by a Garmin GPSMAP 7607, and a VHF radio provides communications. A Fusion stereo system supplies audio throughout the cockpit and cabin.

Below deck, the cabin accommodates up to four people with a queen-sized mid-cabin berth and a convertible forward dinette that converts to a V-berth. The galley includes a microwave, single-burner ceramic glass stove, refrigerator, and stainless steel sink. An additional sink sits in the cockpit. The head is fully enclosed with toilet, sink, and shower. Fresh water, waste, and water heater systems support extended cruising, while air conditioning keeps the cabin comfortable.

The spacious cockpit offers ample seating, a bimini top, full camper enclosure, and a bow spotlight for nighttime visibility. A swim platform and transom shower facilitate water activities and rinsing off after time on the water. A flat panel TV provides entertainment below deck. The boat carries 73 gallons of fuel, 20 gallons of fresh water, and an 18-gallon waste tank.
