The 2017 Ranger Z521 Comanche is a 21-foot bay boat designed for tournament-level performance. It's rated for up to 250 horsepower and features Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering for smooth, responsive handling. The single-engine layout includes a Minn Kota Fortrex 80 24V trolling motor, a high-performance stainless steel prop, and a fiberglass transom with stringers for durability. The boat rides on a recirculating aerated livewell with removable divider and automatic timer, designed to keep bait healthy throughout the day.

The deck layout prioritizes functionality and access. The front features a padded casting platform with built-in cup and tool holders around the recessed trolling motor pedal. Beneath the platform sit port and center rod boxes with angled tubes for easy rod access and a Power Ventilation Rod Storage system that circulates air to reduce moisture. The cockpit includes two Lowrance HDS-7T Gen 3 displays at the bow and console, digital switching, custom multi-function gauges, and ample space for flush-mounting additional electronics. An on-board dual-pro charger supports the electrical systems.
