2018 Everglades 253 Center Console

The 2018 Everglades 253 Center Console is a hybrid bay and offshore design built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 300-horsepower Yamaha outboard. The boat brings together proven features from Everglades' 243 and 273 models, paired with advanced electronics including Garmin chartplotters, Fusion audio, VHF radio, and autopilot.

The 91-square-foot cockpit provides generous working and walking space, with a low-profile powder-coated bow rail and pop-up cleats for safety. Built-in storage is extensive: an 87-quart cooler sits beneath the forward console seat, complemented by an 87-gallon in-floor insulated fishbox and a 26-gallon livewell. Rod storage options include under-gunwale storage on port and starboard sides plus a lockable, cushioned locker forward. Twin hopper holders allow easy cooler loading and unloading.

Seating combines comfort with versatility. Forward-facing bow seats feature detachable backrests for cruising, while two foldaway stern seats flank the insulated storage. When folded, the stern seatbacks open an expansive aft casting deck. The boat includes a removable protective cover for the Yamaha outboard cowling.
