This 2018 Klamath Boats 18 Open is an aluminum bay boat built on a modified V-bottom hull design. The hull features a hard chine, sharp bow entry, and moderate deadrise aft, delivering stable planing performance and efficient passage through choppy water while keeping occupants and gear dry. The aluminum construction includes double-walled heavy extruded chine, high-strength extruded gunwale, and formed-in stiffening ribs for durability.

The boat is rigged with a 50-horsepower Tohatsu outboard engine paired with a 9.9-horsepower auxiliary with remote steering. The deck is outfitted with fishing equipment including two downriggers, a Lowrance electronics system, VHF radio, and a complete fisherman's top.
