2018 Ranger Z520L

The 2018 Ranger Z520L is a 21-foot bay boat powered by a Mercury 250 Pro XS Optimax outboard engine. Built for shallow-water fishing and coastal cruising, it combines responsive handling with practical deck layout designed for anglers and water sports enthusiasts.

The boat is equipped with dual Lowrance HDS Carbon touchscreen displays—a 16-inch unit at the console and a 9-inch at the bow—for navigation and fish-finding. Power-assist systems include a Minn Kota Fortrex trolling motor (112 lbs., 36V) and hydraulic Atlas jack plate for shallow-draft maneuvering. Two Power Pole 8-foot shallow-water anchors provide hands-free station-keeping. Steering is hydraulic, and the engine runs on a stainless steel 25-pitch Fury propeller with hydraulic trim and power steering engagement via hot-foot control.

Onboard amenities include lighted storage compartments, rod buckles, folding and butt seating, a boarding ladder, and a 4-bank dual-pro battery charger. The 12V outlet supports standard electronics. The console features a touch-pad dash, and the deck incorporates a remote drain plug for easy maintenance. Fiberglass fenders protect the hull in tight spaces.

The boat includes a bunk trailer fitted with aluminum wheels, a swing-away tongue, road armor, spare tire, and boat buckles for secure highway transport.
