2019 Cobalt R5 Surf

The 2019 Cobalt R5 Surf is a 25-foot fiberglass bowrider built for watersports and family cruising. Powered by a single gasoline engine, it combines open-water performance with the onboard comfort expected from Cobalt's sport boat line. The boat features a refined interior with Makassar wood trim and Sea Grass flooring throughout the cabin and cockpit areas.

Entertainment and audio are central to the design. An upgraded Platinum Sound System includes transom and arch speakers that cover the full length of the boat, from the helm to the swim platform. The open layout accommodates groups comfortably, with a removable dinette table for dining and socializing, and a sunpad filler cushion that expands lounging space across the bow.

Watersports capability is built in. Twin Triton wakeboard racks secure gear while keeping the cockpit clear for passengers. Tonneau covers protect the bow and cockpit when not in use. LED RGB interior accent lighting adds ambiance for evening outings, and the Sea Grass flooring combines durability with a refined aesthetic throughout the living spaces.
