The 2019 G3 Gator Tough 17 is a center console runabout built for shallow waters and river fishing. Its shallow V hull features a 10-degree deadrise and shallow V entry line, designed to get on plane quickly and deliver a smooth, fuel-efficient ride with modest horsepower.
The boat centers on a 19-gallon fuel capacity and includes a deep roto-molded livewell on the bow with a second aerated livewell, both trimmed for standard bait buckets. Flanking the forward livewell are lockable storage compartments. Additional storage includes roto-molded lockers on the front deck, with a step for easy access. The console is molded as one piece, eliminating joints between top and bottom sections, and houses a fuel gauge plus Yamaha controls and cables.
Equipment includes an aluminum transom, galvanized trailer, bilge pump rated at 800 GPH, navigational lights with storage clips, cup holders, and a horn. The hull is built to 0.100-inch gauge thickness. Engine trim is available in two positions to suit varying conditions and loads.
