2019 Malibu Wakesetter 22 MXZ

The 2019 Malibu Wakesetter 22 MXZ is a fiberglass ski and wake boat powered by a new PCM 409 engine. At 22 feet in length with an 8.5-foot beam, it combines compact overall dimensions with a distinctive large picklefork bow that provides generous forward space and storage. The boat's layout prioritizes both comfort and performance, with wraparound cabin seating and flip-up Chill-Ax interior seating that can face either direction.

The command and control setup centers on Malibu's Command Center with rotary joystick steering, paired with Power Wedge II ballast management and Surf Gate with Surf Band for wake shaping. A forward-facing bow camera and rear-facing reverse camera provide visibility from the helm, while LED interior and underwater lighting enhance usability day and night. The audio system features a Wetsounds package with a 12-foot subwoofer and two sets of Rev 8 speakers.

Additional features include a transom walkthrough for cockpit access, a front boarding ladder for water entry, an onboard trash can, and LED interior lighting throughout. The boat comes with a tandem-axle trailer fitted with bow steps and a spare tire.
