2020 Bass Cat Cougar FTD

The 2020 Bass Cat Cougar FTD is a 20-foot fiberglass bay boat built around a proven FTD hull design refined for casting and pitching. An extra width added to the beam creates a stable platform across the deck, while a central storage compartment keeps tackle accessible without moving rod holders. The single Mercury 250 hp engine delivers the power needed for shallow-water and open-water performance.

Storage defines this boat's layout. Dual rear storage compartments, substorage beneath premium euro-style bucket seats, and two insulated coolers provide organized space throughout the deck. The clean console accommodates a 12-inch GPS unit with dual side-by-side mounting options, and a choice of large or compact windscreen covers the helm. Rod storage includes two boxes, an organizer, passenger rod stays, and dual straps.

The boat carries electronics including twin Hummingbird Helix 7 units, a Minn Kota Fortrex 80 trolling motor, and a Slidemaster jackplate for engine control. Deck features include lighted rails, integrated stainless ladder, push-button lighting, dual 1000 GPH automatic bilges, a ventilation system, and stainless cup holders. The 52-gallon fuel capacity spans two tanks. The fiberglass hull employs vinyl ester resin on outer laminates and a foam-filled stringer system.
