The 2020 Bayliner VR4 Bowrider is an 18-foot fiberglass bowrider powered by a single 150 hp Mercury outboard engine. Its compact size makes it straightforward to tow, launch, and store while retaining the performance and usability expected of the VR Series.
The design maximizes interior space through Bayliner's BeamForward hull, which extends the full beam further forward than traditional pointed bows for improved comfort and capacity. The AftAdvantage design shifts seating toward the aft section of the running surface, allowing the swim platform to extend beyond it and creating extra room in the cockpit. High gunnels add both passenger space and safety.
The bow seats accommodate flexible configurations with movable backrests, and optional accessories include a wind block and filler cushion that can create an additional seating position, along with sun pad inserts to expand the sunbathing area. The cockpit benefits from contoured backrests on the swim platform, while a standard sport-style windshield or optional windshield with opening center panel and side wings provide weather protection. Under-seat storage and convenient stowage throughout help manage gear and personal items.
A standard sport windshield or optional versions with opening panels are available, and the boat can be equipped with water sports or fishing options to suit different recreational needs.
