2020 Elling E6

The 2020 Elling E6 is a 65-foot composite-hulled cruiser built to CE Category A (Ocean) standards, designed for long-range offshore cruising. Powered by a Volvo Penta D13 900 HP main engine with 670 hours of operation, the yacht achieves speeds up to 20 knots. A Volvo Penta D2 75 HP auxiliary wing engine with dedicated fuel capacity provides redundancy for extended passages. The hull features Kevlar reinforcement for self-righting capability, and stability is managed by a Seakeeper 9 Gyro Stabilizer reducing roll by up to 80% and twin MagnusMaster rotor stabilizers. Additional systems include a Northern Lights 9 kW generator, hydraulic backup power pack for anchoring, and a Hydronautica Remote Docking System.

The interior is finished throughout in high-gloss American Cherry wood. The accommodations comprise an owner's suite with king-size bed and private ensuite, a forward guest cabin with queen-size bed and private bathroom, and a third cabin with twin bunks. The deck saloon features panoramic views, double leather helm seating, wine cooler, and pop-up television. The lower saloon offers curved seating and a second television. Two full bathrooms feature Corian worktops, thermostatic showers, and heated towel racks. The galley is equipped with premium Miele appliances, dual refrigerator and freezer units, oven-microwave combination, washing machine, dryer, and wine storage.

Climate control is provided by a Kabola central heating system with radiators throughout and a full-size reverse-cycle air conditioning system with twin compressors. Double-glazed tinted safety glass with insulated frames offers thermal and sound insulation, while electrically operated saloon windows and a large sliding roof with pneumatic seal provide ventilation and natural light.

Navigation equipment includes twin Raymarine Axiom 16-inch multifunction displays, 4-foot open-array radar, three Raymarine i70 instruments, Raymarine Ray 90 VHF radio, AIS 700 transceiver, and Raymarine P70R autopilot with wireless remote. Additional systems include Starlink Performance Kit, FLIR M364c thermal imaging camera, Oil Reverso system for the main engine, integrated electric winches, and a fully equipped radar arch. Safety features encompass comprehensive fire alarm and automatic engine room fire suppression systems, bilge pumps, water alarms, and an integrally molded engine bed designed to minimize vibration.
