The 2020 Nitro Z20 is a 20-foot bay boat powered by a single 225-hp Mercury engine. Its Vortex Technology hull employs parabolic curves designed for rapid planing, enhanced lift while on plane, and improved handling characteristics. The boat measures 7.75 feet in beam and benefits from a 100-percent composite deck core for strength and thermal stability. Low-profile gunnels maximize usable deck space and casting ease.
The layout is optimized for tournament fishing. The bow features two 8-foot rod lockers with lift assists and a center tackle storage compartment equipped with Nitro's Tackle Management System. The console is modular and aerodynamic with expanded legroom. Two 19-gallon insulated Guardian livewells with digital timers sit in the aft section, alongside lift-out molded storage boxes designed to accept tackle trays. A Minn Kota Maxxum 24V trolling motor with 70-pound thrust and foot control is installed, while a 12-inch adjustable jack plate allows for shallow-water operation.
Accommodations include a Z-Core seating system with Force Flex suspension for the driver and passenger, plus a bike seat and folding fishing seat. The 42.5-square-foot padded bow deck provides a dedicated work surface. Additional features include a Lowrance HOOK2 5 fishfinder, hydraulic steering with tilt, 2-bank 8-amp battery charger, interior LED courtesy lighting, and an integrated fold-down stainless steel boarding ladder.
The boat comes fully rigged on a custom-matched tandem-axle trailer finished with powder coat and Galvashield Impact protection.
