2020 Nitro Z20

The 2020 Nitro Z20 is a 20-foot bay boat built on the NITRO Vortex Technology hull, which uses parabolic curves to deliver quick acceleration, improved lift on plane, and responsive handling. Compact enough to navigate shallow water and tight docking situations, it performs comparably to larger 21-foot boats while maintaining maneuverability for serious anglers.

The boat centers on tournament-focused storage and rigging. The bow features two 8-foot rod lockers with lift assists, a 42.5-square-foot padded deck, and a center tackle storage compartment with the Tackle Management System. Two 19-gallon insulated livewells with digital timers sit aft, paired with lift-out molded storage boxes designed to hold tackle trays. Additional storage includes a 62-quart insulated cooler integrated into the bow step, designated net storage, lockable aft deck compartments, and a removable tool and rope tray in the rigging area.

Standard equipment includes a Minn Kota Maxxum 24V trolling motor with 70-pound thrust, a Lowrance HOOK2 5 fishfinder, hydraulic steering with tilt, and a 12-inch adjustable jack plate. Seating uses the Z-Core system with contoured, rotomolded frames and Force Flex suspension for driver and passenger. The composite deck core provides thermal stability and weight efficiency, while low-profile gunnels maximize casting space. A removable acrylic windscreen and LED courtesy light outfit the modular console.

The boat comes fully rigged on a custom-matched tandem-axle trailer with GALVASHIELD Impact protection. Three Interstate batteries—one cranking and two trolling—are charged by a two-bank, 8-amp charger with an exterior receptacle. The boat is NMMA certified.
