The 2021 Dragonfly 32 Evolution is a composite trimaran built for performance sailing and cruising. At nearly 33 feet long with a 27-foot beam, the three-hull design offers stability and spacious deck area. Power comes from a Yammer 21 hp diesel engine, paired with a bow thruster for maneuverability.
The interior includes two cabins—a forward double and an aft cabin—plus a separate head. Living spaces are finished with elm joinery and a wheel steering arrangement. The boat is equipped with a refrigerator, water heater, watermaker, and solar panels mounted on the floats and central hull for self-sufficiency underway.
The sail plan centers on a 16.7-meter carbon mast with Elvstrøm sails throughout: a main and genoa both in EPEX material, a 29 square meter code 0 with furling capability, and a membrane spinnaker (new in June 2024). A full wardrobe supports varied wind conditions.
Additional features include a bow thruster and solar panel setup designed for extended cruising with minimal engine reliance.
