The 2021 Ranger VX1788 WT is an 18-foot aluminum runabout built on a broad-beamed Deep V hull. Powered by a 175-horsepower Mercury engine, it combines fishing capability with day-boat versatility. The all-welded construction and non-skid cockpit provide a stable platform for either serious fishing or recreational use.
The layout centers on a fully featured fiberglass console with integrated storage, housing gauges and electronics mounting points at both the helm and bow. Marine-grade seats are positioned to adapt the cockpit for different activities, from fishing to watersports. Two livewells support fishing operations, while dedicated storage includes in-deck ski and rod stowage, centerline battery and fuel storage, and compartments in the gunnels and both decks.
Equipment highlights include dual fiberglass consoles with built-in storage, capability to accommodate large-screen electronics, and movable seating that allows configuration for tournament or family use. The non-skid surfaces and premium seat construction are designed for all-weather performance throughout the season.
