The 2021 World Cat 296 DC is a dual-console fishing boat powered by twin Yamaha F300NSB outboards producing 600 total horsepower. The engines show 161 hours on the port side and 160 hours on the starboard, backed by a Yamaha extended warranty through August 2026.
The boat is equipped with digital electric steering and Yamaha Helm Master Ex joystick control with autopilot. Navigation and fishfinding are handled by a Garmin 8612xsv multifunction display paired with an Airmar B175M CHIRP through-hull transducer that monitors water temperature. A Garmin 110 VHF radio with 8-foot antenna rounds out the helm station.
Fishing amenities include a 25-gallon insulated livewell with a 1,100 GPH pump, twin 225-quart insulated in-floor fish boxes with macerators, and four gunwale-mounted stainless steel rod holders. A full Eisen glass enclosure was installed new in 2024, protecting the helm and passenger areas from weather.
