2022 Hobie Mirage Passport 12

The 2022 Hobie Mirage Passport 12 is a 12-foot pedal-driven kayak built from rotomolded polyethylene with a 34-inch beam. It features the MirageDrive GT with Glide Technology and kick-up fins for efficient, stealthy propulsion. The boat weighs 73 pounds fully rigged and carries a 400-pound capacity with a 275-pound seat capacity.

The open cockpit centers on a breathable mesh seat with a wider standing area finished in EVA floor padding. A center 8-inch Twist-n-Seal hatch provides below-deck storage access, while bow and stern cargo areas offer additional stowage. The seat height measures 12.25 inches from the floor to the middle, with an overall height of 14.25 inches at its tallest point.

Fishing-focused details include rod holders, transducer and scupper provisions for fishfinder installation, a Power-Pole Micro bracket indent for shallow-water anchoring, and integrated under-seat and gunnel tackle storage. The kayak comes equipped with a steering system and stowable rudder, along with accessory tracks for customization. Built in SeaGrass Green, it is presented as a 2022 demo model.
