2022 Princess R35

The 2022 Princess R35 is a 35-foot performance motor yacht powered by twin Volvo V8 gasoline engines producing 860 horsepower combined. Built from fiberglass, the boat reaches a maximum speed of 44 knots and cruises efficiently at 25 knots. The hull incorporates the Princess Active Foil System (AFS), developed with BAR Technologies and Pininfarina, which uses two independently adjustable carbon-fiber foils to reduce water resistance by approximately 30 percent while improving stability and handling.

The foil system operates autonomously, with onboard computer control continuously monitoring pitch, roll, and heave acceleration through a precision inertial measurement unit. Each foil adjusts independently by up to 5 degrees to maintain optimal positioning across varying sea conditions. This technology delivers responsive handling and smooth performance at all speeds.

The R35 accommodates one cabin with one head. The layout provides comfortable day-cruising and overnight capability in a compact, performance-focused design that prioritizes both speed and seaworthiness.
