2023 Hinckley Sport Boat 40 X

This 2023 Hinckley Sport Boat 40 X is a 40-foot composite pilothouse designed by Ray Hunt Design Group around a modern Deep V hull engineered from the ground up for outboard propulsion. Twin Mercury Verado V12 engines rated at 600 hp each deliver a top speed of 45 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots. The hull is built using carbon and Kevlar with Corecell foam core, infused and post-cured with epoxy resin via the SCRIMP process. An integrated outboard bracket supports a telescoping swim ladder, and the hull is finished in Awlgrip Oyster White with a double Ocean Blue boot stripe.

The pilothouse features a full curved Clear View windshield with powered side windows and overhead hatches, LED lighting, and a custom helm setup with digital switching and integrated Mercury display. The expansive cabin includes a forward island queen berth that converts electrically to a settee with self-storing table, full galley with electric cooktop and refrigeration, and an oversized head with stall shower. Overhead LED lighting, air conditioning, and numerous storage lockers complete the interior.

On deck, the yacht carries an array of electronics including dual Garmin MFDs, a 24XHD radar, autopilot, and a 2000-watt Fusion sound system. The self-bailing cockpit features power-adjustable aft seating, a powered SureShade awning, and wash-down systems. Equipment includes a Lewmar electric windlass, a Sidepower bow thruster, and a 7.5kW diesel generator with 96 hours of use. The systems are managed through CZone digital switching with control accessible via touchscreen or Garmin displays.

The boat has been carefully maintained with only 140 engine hours and protected under a covered lift. The specifications include joystick control steering with tilt wheel, trim tabs with auto-leveling, three fuel tanks totaling 450 gallons, an 82-gallon water tank, and comprehensive safety equipment. Composite teak decking, stainless steel hardware throughout, and teak toe rail appointments maintain the yacht's finish and functionality.
