The 2024 Bayliner VR5 Bowrider OB is a 20-foot fiberglass bowrider powered by a 115 HP Mercury FourStroke EFI outboard engine. The boat's design centers on two core features: BeamForward hull construction that carries the full eight-foot beam toward the bow for added interior space and safety, and AftAdvantage seating that extends the cockpit all the way to the running surface. This layout maximizes usable cabin area while positioning the swim platform and outboard motor well aft, keeping them clear of passenger space.

The cockpit is arranged with a helm featuring tilt steering, custom sport wheel, and side-mounted engine controls with integrated trim and tilt switch. Multi-function gauges display fuel, speed, tachometer, and voltage. The self-bailing cockpit includes five grab handles, five cup holders, an integrated cooler, glove box, and under-seat ski and wakeboard storage. A portside companion seat offers three-position adjustability.

Standard equipment encompasses six mooring cleats, three bow and transom eyes, 12-volt navigation lights, a swim platform with telescoping ladder, and a manual 1200 GPH bilge pump. A battery switch manages electrical systems, with 12-volt accessory outlet and horn at the helm. The fuel system includes an integrated vent at the fill point for safe operation.
