The 2024 Beneteau Oceanis Yacht 54 is a 56-foot cruising sailboat designed by Roberto Biscontini and Lorenzo Argento. Built to North American specification with a fiberglass hull, the boat combines a balanced approach to performance, practicality, and comfort across a well-appointed layout. Key engineering features include a Yanmar 4JH110 CR diesel engine producing 110 hp, a tunnel bow thruster with dedicated battery bank, and a furling mast with Code 0 and asymmetrical spinnaker rigging. Substantial winch power comes from two Harken H60.2 electric genoa winches, electric halyard and rigging winches, and a German two-way mainsheet system running to the helm. Twin black composite steering wheels command the boat from the cockpit.
The three-cabin, three-head layout accommodates substantial cruising comfort. The owner's cabin features a 180mm spring mattress and dedicated head with electric fresh water and sea water toilet. A bow cabin and two aft cabins with separate heads complete the sleeping arrangements. The salon is finished in Walnut Alpi with Lounge Greige upholstery and includes an Apollo amplifier with Bose 2.1 speakers. The galley incorporates a refrigerator, deep freezer, and a 60-liter-per-hour watermaker.
Deck and cockpit equipment emphasize ease of handling and comfort. The cockpit features Luxe trim with Charcoal Grey Diamante Snow upholstery, including helmsman seat with stainless steel back and 80mm filter foam cushioning. Two sundecks with reclining backs and electrical bases allow flexible configurations. An electric tilting transom, accommodation ladder, and tender loading system add practical convenience, while three underwater light projectors enhance evening ambiance. Four deck water inlets and hot and cold water cockpit shower are included.
Power generation and climate control support extended cruising. A 7.5 kVA generator with cocoon enclosure, two additional 140Ah service batteries, and a 2000VA inverter provide substantial electrical capacity. Air conditioning rated at 44,000 BTU ensures comfort in warm climates. Navigation is managed through the B&G Offshore Pack with AIS 500 and IBS sensor.
