2024 Blackwood 290

The 2024 Blackwood 290 is a 29-foot center console built on a composite hull and powered by a single 600-horsepower Yamaha engine. The boat features joystick control for precise maneuvering and comes equipped with a custom fiberglass hard top, providing weather protection and shade over the cockpit.

The helm showcases a luxury setup with custom dash panels, plush seating with folding armrests and flip-up bolsters, and a tilt electric steering system for comfort during long days on the water. A JL Audio Media Master sound system with multiple speakers fills the cabin, while overhead blue lights and docking lights provide ambiance. Navigation and communication are handled by a VHF radio with antenna, and an Airmar B60 bronze transducer supports fishfinding capability.

This console is designed for serious fishing, featuring three tournament livewells with high-speed pickups, overflows, and recirculating aerating systems. Storage includes front and rear tackle systems, under-gunnel rod storage, and 19 stainless steel flush-mount cup holder and rod holder combinations. Four fish boxes with macerators handle catch processing. Thirteen rod holders are positioned throughout the boat for easy access.

Additional amenities include fresh and raw water washdowns, a six-jet misting system for cooling, and ShadowCaster underwater lighting. The boat has one head with in-console access. Performance upgrades feature recessed Lenco trim tabs, a triple battery charger, and stainless steel propellers. Lighting includes spreader lights, docking lights, and a razor driving light for visibility in all conditions.
