The Excess 14 is a 44-foot sailing catamaran built on a lightweight, asymmetrical hull design that brings racing-inspired performance to a cruising platform. The new sailplan maximizes effective sail area, delivering responsive handling and spirited sailing characteristics.

The catamaran's 25-foot beam provides stability and interior volume typical of the multihull type. Twin fiberglass hulls and Yammer auxiliary power support extended cruising capability.
