The 2024 Scout 231 XSB is a 23-foot composite bay boat built for inshore fishing and shallow-water performance. Powered by a single Mercury 300 hp gasoline engine, it combines the aggressive styling and proven efficiency of Scout's XS line with practical fishing features.
The cockpit is designed for crew comfort and functionality. Five removable backrests—two forward and three aft—provide flexible seating arrangements. The boat includes the Scout Post, a patent-pending thru-hull bow anchor pole system. Rod holders and storage are integrated throughout, with optional aft baitwells and a choice of three leaning post configurations available.
This example is equipped with a 10-foot Power Pole, 10-inch Garmin chartplotter, Garmin B60 transducer for fishfinding, 6-inch hydraulic jackplate, Lumitec light bar, trolling motor battery charger, LED trim tab indicator, and fresh and raw water wash-down system. The engine has approximately 25 hours of running time.
