The 2025 Cobalt R4 is a 24-foot fiberglass bowrider designed for open-water recreation. With an 8-foot beam and single gasoline engine, it combines a responsive hull construction with composite structural elements for durability and weight efficiency.
The helm features a glass cockpit with dual Garmin 743 displays, stainless steel instrumentation, and a black leather steering wheel paired with illuminated switches and depth and water temperature readouts. Seating includes a Del Mar captain's chair at the helm, a flip-backrest passenger seat, and a convertible three-position sundeck lounger forward. An aft sunpad with stainless steel accent rail, molded-in ice chest, and dash storage complete the interior layout. A Bluetooth sound system with six speakers and iPod/USB connectivity provides entertainment.
Exterior features include an Obsidian windshield with stainless steel accents and braces, a swim platform with flip-down swim step, stainless steel engine vents and ski pylon, midship cleats, and an anchor locker. A bow walk-thru door provides access forward, and molded-in graphics are finished in gelcoat.
The hull employs Kevlar reinforcement and a fiberglass stringer system for strength, complemented by a composite floor and transom. Safety systems include manual fire extinguishers, an ignition safety switch, dual battery switch with automatic charging relay, and circuit breaker protection throughout the electrical system. Through-prop exhaust directs engine gases overboard.
